Webinar: An Introduction to Child Sexual Abuse & Grooming
Zoe Johannsen, Prevention Specialist at MOCSA, leads our April webinar, An Introduction to Child Sexual Abuse & Grooming. Learn about MOCSA, what child sexual abuse is, signs and symptoms, grooming and how “rape culture” (prevailing social attitudes that have the effect of normalizing or trivializing sexual assault and abuse) contributes to Child Sexual Abuse in society.
This is the first of several webinars that will connect us with experts and clinical information on Child Sexual Abuse, trauma, and its long-term health impacts. Understanding the science and psychology expands our understanding of the “actions of healing and justice” we promise.
When we all understand the long-term impact from the trauma of Child Sexual Abuse we change hearts and create a more restorative response to survivors. We kindly request that you register for this online event; we will send the Zoom link a few days prior. Registration helps us to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
